Academy International will join Bowie Boys and Girls Club to host a week-long lacrosse clinic for girls at Mitchellville Field Aug. 4-8. Volleyball

An 11-week women's volleyball clinic will be held at the city gym Thursdays from 8 to 10 p.m. The fee is $50 and participants will learn basic volleyball skills such as passing, receiving, setting, spiking, blocking, serving and "game sense," how to better play the game of volleyball.
