Boluda is a 2007 graduate of Bishop McNamara High School, Forestville.

daughter of Jose and Lee Ann Boluda of Bowie, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Maryland.

Boluda, a 2005 graduate of Bishop McNamara High School, Forestville, is pursuing a double major in government and Spanish.

Jazmin Doss

of Mitchellville, a freshman electrical engineering major at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va., was recently inducted into the CommonWEALTH of Scholars honors organization.

The CommonWEALTH of Scholars is a selective, student-driven honors organization designed to enrich the intellectual development and academic experience of qualified students by providing academic challenges and opportunities. Undergraduates with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher are eligible for membership.
