Attempted robbery

An elderly couple who lives near Old Chapel Road told police that two strangers followed them home after leaving an event on Race Track Road early Tuesday afternoon.

The couple said the men, who were in a tan or light brown, four-door, older model Honda, got out of their car and slowly walked up their driveway as they were returning home, according to Bowie Police. One had his hand tucked in his pants as if he had a weapon and said "give me the money."

The husband went inside to call 911 and they drove off in an unknown direction.
